Liverpool starts his plan to fortify Mani
LONDON (Reuters) - Liverpool have begun their moves to immunize Senegalese star Sadio Mane from the greed of top Europeans, a British press report said on Sunday.
According to the site "Liverpool Eco", the Liverpool administration began talks with Mani, on the signing of a new contract with the Reds.
Although the current contract expires in the summer of 2023, the Reds want to ensure that Mani will last as long as possible, having become the star of the team.
Mani was an observer last summer by Real Madrid, and several reports pointed out that the Senegalese player has been a major target for French coach Zinedine Zidane, since his first term at the Royal Club.
Mani is Liverpool's top scorer in the Premier League, with four goals, on par with Egyptian Mohamed Salah.
