Google announces Stadia Premiere Edition, which sells the Founder package in most of Europe
According to Stadia Twitter's official account, the Founder's Edition package, which includes the Night Blue Night Controller and 3 months of Stadia Pro for you and your friend, is now sold in most countries across Europe. To mitigate the shock, the new Premiere Edition has been bundled together which includes most of the bits themselves but is not very attractive
The Premiere package will come with a Clearly White console instead, and although you will still get 3 months of Pro subscription for free, there will be no Buddy Pass support with this package. It will include the Chromecast Ultra dongle required to run Stadia on a TV and the entire Destiny 2 collection, but other features such as the Founder badge and first username icons will be missing
It is not clear how much Europe is selling from the Founder's version allocations, but it can still be pre-ordered here in the UK. Pricing for the Premiere edition seems to be the same 129 € in the countries it is already available, such as Germany, France, and Spain, which is a kick in the teeth for those who have waited long - but that's just and so things are going. Like the founder's version, Premiere packages are set before the launch date of Stadia on November 14
