Firmino vs. Premier League giants
LONDON (Reuters) - Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino scored for Chelsea on Saturday at Stamford Bridge for the sixth round of the Premier League.
Firmino's goal came in the 30th minute of the first half, after left-back Andy Robertson sent a cross from the left, to hit the Brazilian header without suffering from any control of Chelsea defenders who were busy with Van Dyke and Joel Matip.
Firmino, who scored 16 goals, scored eight goals against Arsenal, four against Manchester City, two at Tottenham Hotspur and one against Manchester United and Chelsea.
Firmino became the second player, after Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, to score 3+ goals and provide 3+ assists for his team-mates in the Premier League this season (scoring three goals and making three).
The outcome of the game indicates that Liverpool lead two goals free of charge, knowing that the Reds first goal scored by Alexander Arnold with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area.
