Sergio Ramos wants a new contract with Real Madrid

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has revealed he wants to sign a new contract that will allow him to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spanish star joined the Spanish capital from Seville in 2005 and has represented him in 600 matches in all competitions and won 20 titles.

Ramos' contract expires in the summer of 2021 and there were reports last summer that the captain was considering a move to a Chinese league.

For his part, the 33-year-old said he could agree on the issue of extending his contract with the club in just five minutes, stressing that it is not a crisis.

"There is no Ramos crisis," Ramos told Onda Cerro. "I have a contract with Real Madrid and I have a year and a half left in this contract. If Real Madrid wants to settle this issue, it will end in just five minutes."

Ramos, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United last summer, has won three La Liga titles, two King's Cup titles and four Champions League titles with the club.

So far only Raul, Iker Casillas, Manuel Sanchez and Santillana have won more titles with the Spanish giants than Ramos.
